Add-on factor is a coefficient which determines the tenant’s share of common spaces in the building. However, we strongly recommend to research what it includes, as the add-on factor increases the total area for which rent is paid. Quoting the factor by itself can sometimes be misleading, as in the case of many commercial buildings the add-on factor is not the only coefficient added on top of the in net office space, and the total cost can easily be 10-15% higher.
